About Me
Hi there! I'm a studio based and freelance florist in the Mid-Michigan area. I've always loved flowers and the joy they bring to others. I firmly believe flowers can absolutely make an event, even if it's just personals!
The dream of Allora Floral Design was started in 2015. In the fall of 2016, I attended the Floral Design Institute in Portland, OR and completed 160 hours of hands on course work earning my FDI certification. That was when #flowerjoy was really born for me!
Since then, I've designed for weddings and events (if you've attended Dinner on Main in Midland, you've enjoyed some of my work!), curated personal arrangements, sympathy work and freelanced locally around the state. You'll often find my daughter, Fin, hanging out alongside me while we design for your special day! In 2023, we will be growing some of our own blooms to share with our clients.
I absolutely love getting to know my clients and helping them bring their floral dreams to life. Drop me a note in the "Let's Work Together" section so we can get started on a customized floral design for your special day.
Hours are currently by appointment only. Please allow at least a week's notice for small events (such as showers, dinner parties, etc.) 30 days advance notice for a large event is ideal to make sure we can create the look you've dreamed of!
